For the WTUI challenge this week, which you can find HERE. I had pulled a stash card out for my BIL's birthday, but when my sister proposed a lovely book on Japanese architecture as his gift (and it is lovely, I enjoyed looking at it last weekend), I changed my plans and carved out a little time to make this for him. I used the Screen Divider tutorial. I used black card for my base, a diamond border die from Frantic Stamper for the top, and a Spellbinders oval for the legs. The panels are on white card sponged with antique linen and vintage photo DOX. Two are a Rubbernecker bamboo stamp, stamped first in Versafine Olympia, then in Delicate gold. The birthday sentiment is from Verve, and I added an old Kodomo stamp of a frog, colouring him with Couleur d'Art pencils. On this one I added a bit more sponging in tumbled glass, chipped sapphire and some yellow. The remaining panel is a stamp from Asian Artistry, stamped in black and coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils. I added a bit of splash here and there in weathered wood, with the stamp from French Foliage. And I added the character from the frog set to the bird panel. All panels mounted on gold card.

Oh that bamboo forest is so gorgeous. The entire structure is really impressive, Sabrina. The gallery for today's challenge is like something out of an art museum.

Trying to catch up with your cards.
Great screen card-very Asian feel to me so perfect for the book gift.
The bamboo, the frog-he is a sketchy feel like a lot of Asian pottery I have seen...and it feels "tea dyed".
