Boy is this challenge a challenge, but I am learning a lot. I ended up watching 4 more videos on blending and really never got any kind of feel of how to do blending that would click in my head. So I slapped on the paints as always, but did it slower and with more letting the water do the work (but not like I really should have).
I like the result so I am calling it done. I really like how the flower came out. I may watch a bunch more videos and try again this weekend. Practice, practice... sure glad this is not a class and we are being graded! LOL.

Nancy, you are SO FUNNY!!! I think your leaves are STUNNING, as I looked for the "blending," as you said! AND the gray's in the Magnolia! I believe you HIT THE ASSIGNMENT ON THE HEAD! THIS IS GORGEOUS!!! (I have YET TO TRY! LOL) Will work on it this weekend. BIG INKY HUGS DEAR FRIEND FOR COMING OVER TO VISIT! I've actually been in some kind of an aversion to the machine lately! LOL ;)<3

Stunning magnolia and the leaves are totally awesome - love your blend of colors in those. The soft suede look of your background really make that bloom POP!
