Yesterday a friend asked me for a humorous 75th birthday card for her brother-in-law. But she threw in a weird twist where she wanted me to somehow incorporate "my other brother Daryl" into it (did you all watch Newhart?). I don't know the story behind this, but what a challenge. I searched my Evernote database for "birthday humor" and found my new records stamps from Avery Elle and the records sentiments from MFT. Haven't been used yet, so perfect for Lisa's (mom's) challenge. I have been doing this challenge myself regularly for about a year and a half now with no end in sight. Anyway, my solution to the Daryl challenge was to make this 45 "Happy Birthday" by Daryl & Daryl. I think I'm so funny. I made a cut file for my ScanNCut to make a record player arm, so I could turn my card into a record player.

Oh you are so super clever to be able to incorporate the Daryl and Daryl. Yes I remember that show....does that give away my age? LOL! Great card for your friend. It is nice to see what we have in our stash that has not been used and finally get to play with it. Thank you for joining the WTUI challenge this week. I am so happy you were inspired to use this stamp.
