Pat aka casep, has us sending lots of Teapotter hugs with a pirate theme to Teri. Pat (contrapat) requested a teaparty for Teri to help cheer her up and offer some comfort and brighter days ahead. Like Al, Teri loves pirates, tie dye, Renaissance fairs and fun parties.
I have two pirate themed images - a digi pitate ship and a cute rubber stamp by La-La Land. My plan was to add a plank to the ship and have her "walking the plank".
By the time I finished colouring her she didn't look so cute anymore, so I chopped off her body and put her pirate hat in my box of hats and accessories scraps.
I got to work colouring the digi pirate ship using Prismacolour pencils Zest it pencil blend and a blending pencil. I then went through my stamps and digi's looking for something to walk the plank.
I came across this precious Sherri Baldy mermaid sitting on a rock. I quickly lopped off the rock, sat her on the boat and retrieved the pirate hat from my hat scarp box.
Everything is stuck on the background using a kids glue stick, only one side of the flags are stuck down and I kept the tie on the hat free from glue too.
The background is from my stash, I have copied the description for a previous upload in case you are interested.
To create the background, use a large sheet of polypropylene (Yupo), dribble on some India inks in a couple of shades of blue and green. Squirt on some water and take a small piece of polypropylene paper and use this as a tool to flick it in the inky puddle, smoosh and drag it around to spread the colour. Add more ink if not intense enough.
The ink doesn't actual soak into the polypropylene, it just stains it. Wipe any excess water off with a tissue or soft cloth.
Cut a piece of acetate to the exact size you want the background to be. Lay the acetate on top of the background paper, move it around until you get the exact look you are aiming for. Trace around the acetate so you know where to cut. I ended up with a dozen pieces, some look like the ocean, other pieces look like snow or sky.
This card started out 5" x 7", I doodled a border but it looked too heavy so I cut as much off as I could. I didn't attempt to take the layer off the card base, I just cut through the lot and stuck everything onto a new card base.
Thank you for looking. I hope you get a chance to join in and most of all, stay safe.

I love it when a plan comes together. And despite the changes in course, it did come together beautifully. All the details in this card just add to its fabulousness. Wonderfully creative card. TFS

I love your bg - I know it is much harder than you detail here - if I tried it, it would be a mess. Wonderfully done and wonderful images with magical Susie details. Sure to be loved as I love it as well. Many hugz to you sweet girl.

Giggling at your title, as without that I Probably wouldn't even have noticed the diversity of image sizes. Lots of fun in this card but I think the most touching of all is the inscription "S S Al Baker" - That will go straight to Teri's heart.
