I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Susie is our hostess this week and she has a wonderful challenge for us called, "Frame it!" Twist my arm because I love to make frames! This week we are sending cards to Joann who is dealing with a difficult health situation.
To make this card, I die cut an A2-sized panel using a stitched rectangle die. Then I used 2 smaller rectangle dies to make the frame. I placed the frame on top of the A2 panel so I had an idea where to do the stamping. I focused the stamping on two opposite corners. Then I stamped some extra flowers and leaves and die cut them out. Added foam tape to the back of the frame and placed this onto the A2 card panel. Stamped the sentiment, then placed the die cut elements onto the frame. I was not paying attention when I placed the one leaf because it overlaps part of the sentiment. That is what 27 years of stamping does for me (sigh). Then adhered the entire A2 panel to an A2 card base.
Susie, thank you for this wonderful challenge today and thanks for looking. ~Karen.

Karen, what a beautiful card for Joann. I love that you stamped the flowers and then added the die cut ones. Great colors on those flowers, too, and a wonderful sentiment. I think she will surely display this one.
