I've been going through my supplies and trying to use things that I've had for awhile. I also want to to experiment a bit more often.
This card is for the letter "Q" for Alphabet Challenge: a fairy sitting and quietly contemplating her world.
I embossed this fairy and mushroom, then I used watercolor to start out, adding gold and silver watercolor on wings and stars. Then I went back and colored with Prismacolor pencils to highlight and darken certain areas. Finally, my favorite thing...sparkle...I used lots of Stickles glitter on stars, wings, mushroom, grass and fairy. Well, of course, I needed more sparkle, so i glued a layer of green and bright pink glitter paper onto my card!
It was hard to get a good photo with all the glitter, much prettier irl.

Gracie, what a beautiful card this is filled with sparkly goodness. Your quiet, contemplative fairy is just gorgeous and looks very content sitting on her mushroom. I love the colors you chose for this magical card too! ~Karen.

I thought I had commented on this card already. Well, I'll say it again! I love this adorable fairy with all of the glitter and glimmer around her. Nicely done!
