I kept similar colors but changed the orientation, the stamps, and the shape.
I'm also entering this card in the teapot challenge for Sharon - though I went with a tea theme for Sharon. This is also my entry for the letter T in the alphabet challenge. My T's are the blue teapot for Sharon and the tea bags.
I stamped and colored the main image with Prismacolor pencils and then die cut the oval. On the yellow panel, I added tone on tone stamping of the teacup stack from Morning Cup but I don't think it is very visible in the photo.
I sponged around the oval panel, heat embossed the sentiment, and popped it up with dimensionals. Three gems in the corner echoing the orientation of the sentiment completed the card.
Congratulations, Shelly! I hope you enjoy your week as featured stamper!
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful colouring and colour combination, Catherine. If Sharon likes chamomile tea I know it's meant to be soothing and restorative. And if she doesn't - the card is still uplifting to the spirit. It's one of the few herbal teas I really dislike, though my boss in work says if I'd ever tried her grandmother's organic chamomile from southern Spain I might feel differently.

Wow, Catherine. This is so expertly colored! I had to look twice to make sure I had not already commented on this card. I must have looked at it for a long time and forgot to jot down my thoughts...age...I really like the shading on the teapot, and the different colors you used for your mice. Beautifully made.
