A card for this week's Teapot Tuesday recipient--I'm late to the Teaparty!
The ribbon is from a bouquet my Mom received a while back; I always grab the ribbons before she tosses the dead flowers, lol! I removed the wire from the edges, ran it thru the Xyron & attached to the inside edge of the card base. I cut 1" off of the front of the card base so the ribbon shows when it's closed.
The background for the front is "old school"--stamped the bitty flowers stamp over & over with Orchid Opulence ink.
Stamped the hydrangea & sentiment on a panel of Whisper White CS with Versamark, & heat embossed with the Bold Black EP. Used a blender pen directly on the watercolor pencils to pick up some color, & applied to the hydrangea & leaves. Sponged some Orchid Opulence ink around the sentiment, and the edges of the panel & card. Die-cut a lacy rectangle from the purple CS. Adhered the flower panel to the die-cut rectangle, & popped it up on the card front, overlapping the front edge. Added some bling to the corners. That's it! TFL!
