I am bringing encouraging thoughts, purple, gingham, and flowers to our TeaParty this week. Thank you, Susie for facilitating the TeaPotter this week! And Ally's sketch was the foundation. This is going in the mail today for our fellow TeaPotter, Donnajeanne.
I've put lots of Donna's favorite color into this card. Two sizes of gingham pattern, beautiful Asters, a tad bit of German Scrap that was embossed with Vintage Plum ep. And an encouraging word sprinkled with translucent gold.
Life is definitely sweet and sour. I am glad we have this marvelous community where we can sprinkle positivity and our art into one of our own! Tears and smiles, love and hugs, Donna.

Awesome sentiment - and whatever would we do without our special friends?? Life would not shine nearly as bright. One of the first things that caught my eye is the embossing over the gingham check - it adds a lovely extra layer of texture tactile as well as visual.

Love the subtle combination of textured embossing with the gingham. The scrap would have looked nice in gold, but embossing it in plum makes it look so rich. And that ribbon, oh my!

What a wonderful, heartfelt, inspiring card this is for DonnaJeanne. The purple is fabulous of course and so is all the wonderful texture you have added to this card Susan. I love how you offset the sentiment panel so it is a diamond shape that showcases this wonderful embossed sentiment so beautifully. You have made a treasure of a card that I know DonnaJeanne will treasure for a long time. Hugs! ~Karen.
