Thank you, Diane for the sketch. I traded the heart element for a supersized cup of Chai! And Cathy issued White Embossing Powder for the Ways to Use It this week. I have to admit, I love the bold black cuppa.
The Tea Bag was from a local company which puts poignant words of wisdom in a tiny place...waiting to be discovered for those with eyes to see! This one says 'By listening you comfort another person'.
I trimmed the cup from the saucer and then popped the cup for extra dimension. The base layer was sponged with two shades of chalk ink using a Donna Downey stencil.
What word caught your eye first? Do tell, please.
Thanks for leaving a comment.

Love this fabulous card! I am a sucker for a cup of tea--real or paper. And I think the white embossed on black looks great! I really like that fun DP--the word that jumped out at me was "documented". I looked and thought what a strange word that doesn't belong here.

Friend caught my eye first! I've got the gingerbread, you have the Chai tea. Sounds like a perfect combination, just like friends Love the textured foam and your tea bag sentiment. Another found treasure that others might consider trash. Beautiful card and beautiful thoughts.

That cup is fantastic! It almost looks 3D. And I love the scribble of foam on top of the coffee - and your super sentiment. I used to have a lovely deep, deep blue that was almost black, cup and saucer from Finland, this reminded me of them.
