Thank you to our wonderful Challenge hostesses, so faithful to our community! I've managed to hit three of this weeks prompts with this fun card.
Today on the Ways to Use it, Sabrina suggested Knit Wit. Check the box on fun...I love to knit! And though I really stitched on this card...let's pretend, shall we? This is a fabulous Technique Junkies image. I created a Brushos background with 'Olive Green' and 'Moss Green'. The image was inked with VersaFine 'Onyx Black' and embossed with 'Clear' EP.
The needles were colored with a Silver Pitt Pen. I paper pierced the needles so I could thread the yarn over and under, making loops. This is a tiny snippet of one of my favorite yarns.
For the Sketch Challenge, Allison was kind to us with a very CAS sketch. I fudged a little (tis the season). I couldn't resist putting a bit of my Brusho'ed paper at the bottom with Tim's embossed cross stitches. I stapled over them colored staples.
Our TeaPotter Party this week is for Art Deco Diva, Karen. I have been blessed to receive Karen's art in my mailbox and the gift of her time to comment on my gallery. I know her mailbox will be filled to the brim with well wishes and the kindest of thoughts and prayers going up.

Oh my goodness Susan, this is so arty and fabulous. Your faux stitching is brilliant and I love your knitting and paper pieced needles. Magic background too my friend.

Oh I love your card, Lynn! I spent time knitting two hats and a scarf for my daughter that is now in Copenhagen. Not easy with a sore right hand.
Fun card for the challenges this week! Well done!
