I guess by now you know I love vehicles hauling Christmas trees. This is a woody/woodie wagon heading home in falling snow. I colored the vehicle with Copics, masked for a moon and watercolored a sky. The falling snow was then added along with some bare branch trees.
I added a driver and steering wheel with a lead pencil.
My snowbanks were made with a piece of cardstock cut into curves. I sponged off the edges. I added little drops of water here and there, also.
Unfortunately, this is my last Christmas card this year. They are my favorite to make and I will miss creating them.

I love woodies!!! my family had several station wagons in the 60's with the wood on the side. All Fords. I think the truck/car with the Christmas tree is an awesome image, just classic. Beautiful vibrant colors. Love your work.

Brenda- your wonderful card brought back childhood memories of going to the mountains to cut our Christmas tree- once we lost the tree when making the turn onto the roadway! (tree was retrieved ) Thank you for sharing this!

Your wagon decked out in all the Christmas greenery is awesome! The background is wonderful, too. You'll have to start making your holiday cards early so we can see more of your cars hauling trees all year long! HA..Merry Christmas to you and your family Brenda.
