I turned the sketch 180 degrees. Panel #3 was done with a Scor-Pal and the score lines highlighted with pencil. The slender #6 panel became a bushy pine bough complete with pine cones.
The pines cones were made with a new die set from the Greetery. Betsy Veldman is a wizard at creating stacked dies for a realistic look. She did a hen-and-chick last spring and now has done a pine cone. These are the most realistic looking pine cone dies that I have seen. I colored them with watercolors and white acrylic.
My Christmas cards have been mailed, so it is time to work on some thank yous for the season.

Stunning! Love how you turned the sketch and your creative adjustments. Turned out fabulous! The white "snowy" touches are excellent. Love the white splatter. Just gorgeous!
