Jen is our guest hostess for this month's Buzzing into a New Year Tickle a Teatpotter challenge. Fun theme, and I had plenty of stamps to choose from.
In the end I went with this Penny Black cutie, stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks, plus Stickles on his wings.
The background was made by stamping the ODBD honeycomb backgrounder in Wild Honey, embossing with clear EP and then adding Brushos for colour.
The honeycomb corners are a Memory Box die, I cut two, and added my bee and sentiment in the open space between them. It looked a bit bare, so to get an extra cookie I added a little red (and some other colours) but adding a little spray of foliage.

Oh my gosh Sabrina, seeing this big fuzzy happy bee just made me giggle right out loud. And what a fabulous honeycomb and flowers you made for your bee too- no wonder he is so happy! My dad would have loved seeing this wonderful card you made because he was a bee keeper. Fun! ~Karen.
