I made this card for 2 challenges: the first challenge is this week's Featured Stamper who is Jan (JanTInk). I regret I am not familiar with Jan's work so I am thrilled to have perused her gorgeous gallery today. There are so many cards I want to CASE, but I decided on this card: You are out of this world! by JanTInk at Splitcoaststampers. I love the blues in this card and all the sparkle in her galaxy. I used more of a aqua blue here because this card is for a girl and I used sequins for the stars.
The 2nd challenge this card is for last week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Anita is our hostess and she has chosen the theme of "Put A Smile On Their Face." These cards are going to hospitalized children so that is why I changed up the colors a bit and used sequins. I do see where the aqua sequin I had in the upper left side has fallen off so I will put another one. The unicorn was colored with copic markers, die cut out, and glued directly to the scalloped frame panel. I thought the sequins add to the fun, magical feel of this card.
Congratulations Jan on being Featured Stamper. You have a gorgeous gallery and it was a joy to see your work. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

Fantastic and magical! I love your twist on her card. Your unicorn is so beautiful and then those sequins are the icing on the cake. (If you wanted to, you could add this to the KatScrappiness challenge for Sept - sequins).
