I finally settled on this Handpainted Jar for my inspiration - in part because I was intrigued by the non-traditional color scheme.
There is always a surprise when I makes a card - I stamped my image in BRONZE ink and embossed with clear powder - low and behold it changed to a soft gray - okay - that will still work for me! Took my card outside and applied bleach with a cotton swab to the small pumpkin and leaves. I let it sit in full sun for about 5 minutes and it bleached to a glorious white. Back inside, I added color back to my pumpkins and leaves using a combination of markers and prismacolor pencils. Then stamped & embossed the sentiment. I fleetingly considered using white Nuvo drops on the berries but alas there were SO MANY of them that I just knew I would muck it up . . .so bottle of bleach in hand I headed back outdoors - and this time with a toothpick, dotted in the tiniest bit of bleach to each individual berry. . . .and now they're white! I trimmed the card with a deckle edged scissors and sponged on the narrowest bit of peeled paint. Since I had added some orange to the leaves I decided to finish with some pumpkin colored gumdrops for contrast.

So cool, I LOVE how you bleached the pumpkins and kept that one mostly white and the white berries are the perfect finishing touch!!! So eye-catching with the non-traditional colors. Faved.

Linda, your bronze turned gray looks perfect....as for the blue pumpkin-I love it to pieces and the white one is pretty cool too! Your bleached berries add a bit of razzle dazzle IMHO~
We have a porch on 3 sides of our home. I take the photos on our glass table top. We do have water on our property, but it's not where I take the pictures. I think the sun was playing tricks today~

Oh my word, you hand dotted all the little berries! You are amazing and this is amazing! I adored the blue pumpkins I saw on the bottles! This is beautiful!

Beautifully done! I love it. You chose well, as I had also looked at that one, but decided I am not ready for pumpkins yet. Your bleacing worked so well. Love the white berries and the deckled edges.

Linda, this is absolutely gorgeous!! A wonderful autumnal scene!
I've used bleach before, but never took the cardstock out into the sunshine. Thanks for that added information!
