This card is for Kelli aka KelliJo's Dare To Get Dirty challenge.
I am ashamed to say I have a Gel Printing Plate and have only used it once or twice. I have always found it a bit formidable, however with this challenge I had so much fun, got into a complete mess and ended up with an amazing background, so I would encourage anyone to give this challenge a go.
I put splodges of Acrylic paint that I had out on my craft table from other challenges onto the gel plate and added in some Brilliant Violet just for good measure.
I brayered this across the plate trying not to muddy the colours then put two stencils (Script Dots and Corrugated Lines) on top. Prior to this I had cut about four card fronts and put one of these over the top pressing down firmly. I took a second card front and did the same. I then lifted the stencils and applied some more paint and repeated the process. This has given me four backgrounds to us either in DTGD or later on. I picked the best for this card but I really like all of them.
To celebrate our fifteenth year of DTGD anyone can play but you must be a Fan Club member to be eligible for any prizes.
