I made this card for this week's CAS challenge. Misti (Scrapperwannabe) is our hostess and she has chosen a wonderful theme of Summer Garden. Right now, I have one flower blooming. Just one????? Gosh I'm sorry. Even my crappy garden has more, although it is the clematis. Too much rain, I bet. This is so very pretty. An ode to the single flower!

Several years ago a friend gave me a gerber daisy - when it looked half dead I planted it outside my front door cause I just couldn't trash it - now every spring it sends up ONE leaf and ONE blossom then dies back for another year!
