I made this for the MISTI Monday June 2019 Challenge to create a shape card.
I really thought about this challenge for awhile. I used my coordinating stamps and dies to create this card. It took a little thought to get it to stand up like a regular card. I used my MISTI to stamp my images. I colored directly on the stamp and then stamped onto white card stock. The image was one piece, so with the MISTI it allowed me to color one area at a time, stamp, then color another area and stamp again. I then cut out the image with my dies. This set contains two dies: one for the outside edges of the image and one for the detailed inside edges.
I cut the designer paper with the outside edge die and glued the image onto dp. I also used the outside edge die to cut out my card, leaving parts of the folded edge intact along the left side. Then I glued the panel with my colored image onto the card. I added Stickles glitter to flowers, leaves and butterflies. The sparkle doesn't show up in the photo.
To help the card stand up, I glued a small square of clear acetate at the bottom on the back of the card. This kept the card from rocking and falling over.
I really enjoyed this fun challenge! tfl

What a show stopper of a card this is Gracie! Your wonderful oval card base truly shows off this incredible rose to it's finest version. And these blue butterflies really make a statement with this gorgeous red rose. You did a fantastic job coloring this rose the way you did - I am impressed! ~Karen.
