This card is for the, Try a New Technique Challenge, the Colour challenge and also for Inas S2S challenge...my favourite flower.
I love tulips. They always remind me of spring when I lived in the UK and of Amsterdam. They are definitely a favourite of mine. I had seen this stamp used before and loved it as it practically fills the card, so when my order arrived recently and I saw Inas challenge I knew straight away that I wanted to use it.
I had already sponged the panel a few days ago so this came together quite quickly. Underneath the fussy cut flower is a stamped one in black ink. It looked lost and I wanted the colours to pop so what else to do but pop another flower on top.
I got a little carried away stamping the smaller flowers and should have stopped at one but I still think the tulips shine the brightest....maybe it is the Wink of Stella I added lol.
Tfl. Happy day

Lovely against that dark and brooding background! I like you had another layer with the tulips. And the Wink of Stella adds to the presence of those showy beauties. Pretty take for your challenge entries.
I love the history of tulips and how they were used as currency centuries ago. I think it’s the ruffled parrot ones I love the most.

Tulips mean Spring to me - the brighter the better. We are nearly at the winter equinox (yippee) and that means Spring will be on its way. I can’t wait. I am not a winter person at all. This card is just so bright and cheery.
