For my card I tried a different approach to stenciling. I laid down my cardstock first then a stencil, then a baby wipe over that. I dropped Distress Re-inkers onto the baby wipe and let it soak through the stencil onto my paper. It gave much more of a 'washed' look then regular stenciling. Stamped the sentiment with my Misti.

I love the way this came out, Karen - a super variation on the standard stenciling - I really like the subtle way your colors sort of bled into each other.
