I branched out from Dini's video and instead of using brushos with gel or paste, I used it with spray starch.
I started by spraying a piece of mixed media paper with spray starch. Then I sprinkled with a couple of shades of blue Brushos. I scrunched a piece of cling wrap over the top and left it to dry for a few hours.
It made a beautiful winter sky to place behind my reindeer die cut. I had thought of adding a die cut sentiment but I love the simplicity of the card the way it is so put the sentiment on the inside.

Thank you for posting this beautiful card Susan! I have been searching for the perfect sky background, and I have finally found it in your card. It's stunning. Never have tried your technique, but I'm going to get some starch and give it a shot. Thanks so much.
