Todays challenge was to merge 2 background stamps - I don't own many of those so my choice was pretty much limited to the SU Script and either the mesh or bricks . . . Inked up the script with Khaki ink and stamped onto the right half of my card base then did the same with the mesh on the left side. In order to "merge" the 2, I grabbed my unity Tulips which were already on the table - stamped onto watercolor paper and embossed with clear powder then did a quick water color and fussy cut. I glued the stem flat to my card base and raised the blooms with mounting foam. I decided to scatter a few black sequins to further draw the two divergent bg stamps into a (hopefully) cohesive unit.

Maybe a limited choice worked in your favour, Linda! I have a whole box full of IO backgrounds plus over a dozen SU ones and I was struggling to put them together. I think this worked really well, and love the crispness of your little bunch of tulips.

hi, i thought for sure i left a comment on this before, but i see that i didn't and that is a 'shame on me'! I really love the combo background, i tried to make something to join in that challenge, but mine was just fair and not post worthy. i really need to use this card and CASE it, and i appreciate your inspiring me that first day and TODAY as well! : ) old memory, doesn't work as well as it used to.. hahah thanks for the comment on my 'puppy' card, too. appreciated!
