ABC11F6: I'm still playing catch up on the alphabet challenge. This is my entry for the letter F. I have all sorts of F's here: fun fold card, F, Friends, two of the ink colors, stamp set Flourishing Phrases, flourishes. The double challenge is to make a friendship card...I think I checked that box too.
I was intrigued by the fun fold challenge Sabrina gave us on Monday's technique lover's challenge so decided to try that.
I then chose a couple of ink colors that start with F to make the card. My oldest daughter chose the third color of Bermuda Bay to complete my palette. However, I don't have any Flirty Flamingo or Fresh Fig card stock so I had to make my own dp. No dp was harmed in the making of this card!
First, I stamped the front and sponged the edges. Inside I stamped the flourish from Flourishing Phrases after sponging Fresh Fig and Flirty Flamingo on the stamp and then completing it with Bermuda Bay. I stamped the friends F stamp with Fresh Fig and fussy cut it. I had intended to glue it to the front but ended up putting it inside. I added Spectrum Noir glitter pen to that image.
The Flirty Flamingo folded panel was made by stamping the flourish from Timeless Texture repeatedly and then lightly sponging Flirty Flamingo all over the paper.
The sentiment panel was stamped and then sponged with Fresh Fig to define the edge of the paper.
This was fun to make. Thank you for looking!
