I had a bue/green sponged bg all ready to go and was in the process of stamping on it when I dropped my black ink pad on top....errrrrr, yes, I screamed! So I actually found this already made bg of DO inks applied over gesso. I figured it was close enough..I proceeded to do my stamping..made the grass and added some chunky ep to that, edged the border in gold, added stickles and the brads...Hope you like it.

I just love your beautiful card with the fabulous bg and dancing fairies, Polly, so wonderfully designed! Sorry to read about your original panel, it's so.... annoying when that happens~

Oh, I feel your pain. I have dropped plenty of ink pads. Hugs! Good for you sticking to it and using a background from your stash. Beautiful card. Love the vibrant green with the blue & gold. The silhouette stamping is lovely. Nicely done! TFS

Oh, Polly, so sorry for your disaster, it's just a nightmare when that happens! Fortunately you had another base to use so you didn't have to start over from square one. I LOVE the scene you created, with the fairies dancing under the trees along with their dragonfly friends, and all the sparkle and shine with the gold and stickles! Gorgeous!

must get myself some Lavinia.....this is wonderful, Polly. I feel like I've missed some of your work lately, I think I'm a little fragmented lately. Love your fairy work.
