I thought I could use a masculine card and that is what I set out to do.
I had such fun making my card. For the sky, I just swiped an ink pad on the cardstock, kind of lifting and swirling. I made the water with my mini ink pads just using one of the corners and moving it around like waves. Then, I went back to a regular size pad and swiped for the sand. I used Copics to dot in the sand.
The sailboat was colored with Copics and I stamped the birds.

All your swiping looks great but I especially love the effect you got in the sky area! The black matting and the birds really make everything pop, too!

Your background is incredible! Just by swiping ink pads you got some really interesting shading and texture! I love the rough looking sea! The sky is fabulous. I must try this technique! Great card. The boats and sea thing always draw me in.
