Since her card was a sketch challenge card, I did not follow her sketch, but kept her twine (not part of the sketch) and did add a flourish like she had (but not in the sketch way she did). I also added in a circle so I could use a little used part of this wonderful old set.
I tried coloring the image but didn't like it so I started over and did an Ink, Spray, Smash background instead. I think it worked much better.
Congrats for being the Featured Stamper, Liz, your gallery is full of jewels and I was inspired looking through it.
This is also for this week's Teaparty Challenge. I know we were supposed to have free running horses but this is my fave horse stamp. He runs around looking free when he is not saddled up.
This will be going off to Sandy and Dave who are artists currently home based and feeling a bit tied down.

Nancy, I love that you created a card with the similar tone and color of Liz's. The images are so different from hers but I love every detail you accomplished on yours. Beautiful card.

Wow, what an awesome scene you've created on your card! That background is fabulous! Love the bit of twine with the spur image on the circle.

Wish I could do the MotherMark look she’d do about missing that set. So happy in the end a group of SCS’ers were able to surprise her with it. That is indeed one mighty fine range country for that horse and his cowboy. A great encouraging card for Lorri’s sis and bil. The brooding sky is gorgeous, Mand Nancy. I love you kept it monochromatic. Mighty fine work today.

Nancy, wow! Fabulous background, it's beautiful. Great setting for your cowboy, except it makes me think of dust-storms which wouldn't be much fun for him. Well done on using the spur stamp!
