Karen Barber selected a wonderful color combination for this week's color challenge. Her colors are SU Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, and Bermuda Bay, and her dessert is feathers.
I created a lighthouse scene for my card. I die cut a lighthouse from white cardstock and colored it navy. Using the negative, I created the sky, ocean, and beach by blending crushed curry, poppy parade, and night of navy for the sky, bermuda bay and unicorn white for the ocean and Altenew sand dunes for the beach.
I glued the lighthouse back inside the piece of cardstock to create the inlaid lighthouse. To finish the card, I added birds in the sky for dessert (i.e., feathers) and a sentiment.

This is what I was thinking when I saw these colors, but I never did get to making a card for the challenge. I love all things nautical, so you would think I'd make more of these type cards. Lol Wonderfully masked sun, Bev, and beautiful beach scene altogether! I love the glittery Hello in the sand.....nice touch~
