I've always loved the oak tree image in 'Lovely as a Tree'. Something calming and stately about it. I sponged the 3 squares with Distress Inks and layered them to make a scenic backdrop for the tree. Lovely sketch this week - come and join us!

I agree about the Oak trees. They ARE such a magnificent tree IRL and on paper. want to climb them...:0). Such pretty shading and colors here. Very clever how you ran the colors on the layers like that...simple but so beautiful...Tfs..:0)
