This is my card for CC730. Karen is our hostess and she has chosen bermuda bay, crushed curry, night of navy and poppy parade for her color palette. Dessert Option this week is feathers.
I just got this new Rooster Stamp and thought it would be a good time to use it. I colored it with a combination of Stampin' Blends and Copic markers.
I masked it then stamped the wheat background in crushed curry ink.
My layout this week is using the new Mojo sketch #511. It has lots of layers- just what I like in a sketch.
My background paper is from the Stampin'-Up "floral boutique" collection. On the small rectangle panel I used the SU gorgeous grunge stamp set and then added my "hugs phrase".
The horizontal rectangle panel is embossed with the SU "Seaside" embossing folder. I finished off my card my adding 3 night of navy enamel dots.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Karen has chosen some great colors. We cant wait to see the gallery alive with color and your creativity this week.

love your gallery, so much fun! I really love this Americana type card. At least that is my take on the subject and coloring. I have this Rooster and just need to jump in a make something. maybe a 4th of July card for friends in IN farm country. THANKS for reviewing my humble color challenge card. I really wish I had the Balmy Blue but made due with Bashful. I check the colors every week, and rarely have all 3. : ( I just need to buy more and find space for more! haha take care Teresa
