This is for our monthly Tickle a Teapotter challenge where we exchange cards with each other. Jan (Precious Kitty) is our hostess. We were to illustrate one of our favorite fairy tales from childhood. I found this coloring page on Google and used a portion of it for my card. My woodgrain embossed bg has been rubbed with vintage photo ink to make it look distresses. I framed the picture with some greenery and a polka dot mushroom. TFL!
I was considering adding some small googlie eyes to the wolf but when I tried it it looked kind of creepy...eck!

Yay! This is one of my all-time favorite childhood stories too, and you have captured that perfectly in this fabulous card Polly. I love the embossed woodgrain panel behind the image panel as well as the woodland leaves and mushrooms. You are so creative Polly! I still get chills thinking about the disguised wolf and Little Red Riding Hood saying, "my, what big teeth you have." That is how powerful these stories are. Ha! I so loved seeing this card Polly- it is just fabulous! ~Karen.

Beautifully created forest scene - has all the elements - right down to the spotty mushroom. Big Bad Wolf is scary enough without adding the wobbly eyes.

Oh how I loved that story and what a great card you made from it too. Google eyes on the wolf was probably creepy but you did a great job with the card so the google eyes are not needed.

That wolf scares me! What is it about fairytales that one never tires of coming back to them. I love the wood panel and the ‘looking in through the window’ perspective. Well done.

GREAT Little Red Riding Hood card...plays so well with the challenge. Love the ink burnished woodgrain embossing and the vine and mushroom encrusted red framing!
