I used this wall mural for my inspiration. I actually tried doing my fireworks on a black bg first and also using the black magic technique but couldn't get either to work for me today so opted for this less intense version so I won't be late to my own birthday party . . .
I Brayered the inside of my embossing folder with calypso rainbow ink then ran it through the big shot. I put stickles over the fireworks bursts and set aside to dry. (hard to capture in the pic but lots of shimmer IRL) I stamped Drew girl on watercolor paper did a light color and fussy cut. Stamped the sentiment on scrap and fussy cut that too with a deckle edged scissors. Trimmed my bg with a wave, sponged a bit of black around the edges then adhered to the card base. Used mounting foam to affix both Drew girl and the sentiment and finished with a big star gem in the center of a fireworks burst.

Your fireworks bg turned out beautifully, Linda. The girl is the main focal point and this bg doesn't distract from her. You did an excellent job of coloring that image.

I love each and every detail on this fabulous card, Linda - beautiful bg, the fireworks look amazing (and must be more so IRL) and I really love how wonderfully you have coloured the Unity girl!!
