Finished my bike card this morning! I started it yesterday morning, but couldn't finish before I had to leave for work. But I'm glad I could combine it this morning with the MIX challenge to add text, because I really like the text DP as a frame for these guys. I'm on TLC69 in my quest to try all the technique challenges. It's called Flower Transparencies. The directions call for stamping on acetate and running through a xyron. I have no idea what a xyron is, but I figured I could stamp some flowers on transfer tape and get the same result. I probably could have use packaging tape too, but the transfer tape was a little thicker. Anyway, the instructions were to stamp an image and cut it out of the tape and then stick it onto some fun DP and cut it out again (leaving a bit of extra border). Then you dip the flower into cold water to soak the paper and you can peel off most of the layers of paper and end up with a transparent pattern. Not really that exciting, but it's always fun trying new things. This card is going to my sister in law for her birthday on Monday. She got a bike this year and had enjoyed riding it, so Toni's challenge was timely and perfect!

Sweet little foxy and frog on a bike ride adventure...love your coloring, papers, and patterns used with the doodled framing. Like the results on your flower technique...they add lots to the finished look!
