This card was started yesterday using the color challenge from Penny.....Pool,Cabana,Coral. Using acrylic paint after cutting the flowers from dies, painted them with the one stroke method. Added stitckles for the centers. Painted the envelope and then it sat overnight. Seeing the sketch challenge from Ally this morning..there were 5 flowers., assembled the card, Embossed the oval frame..scored the one panel, outline the one layer with a pool party marker. Added the sentiment. This is going to my friend and neighbor who is turning 95. She still drives, lives by herself and is a delight to spend time with. A surprise party is planned. The card will be hand delivered. TFL

The flowers caught my eye first off Linda but there is so much more to love about this card! The embossing, the sentiment, the fantastic textures! What a beauty and such a great card for the occasion! Love it!

Linda, the detail on these flowers is soooo awesome. Love the ef too. What an elegant and beautiful mix of details and your handwriting. I wish I knew what the one stroke method was - it looks awesome. Wonderful and inspiring card that I know your friend will cherish. Hugz
