Here's another card for today's TLC challenge and also for Kia's CAS âeoeDecember Birthdaysâe challenge. The front card with the purple dress is a birthday card for a coworker who love ice skating and purple. But I made three others with red outfits as Christmas cards. They were really fun and easy to make. I printed out four imagesâe"they took up a half a sheet of paper and I cut them with the ScanNCut. To color them all at once, I pulled out all the markers that I was going to use first and laid them out on the table. Then I colored them all skin first, then hair, dress and shading. Then I made my four card bases and stenciled the trees onto each while also masking with a torn piece of paper to make a snowbank between the ice and the trees. Then I stamped all the insides and the backs. I put the foam squares on the backs of all my skaters and took a piece of DP that was 6âe tall and cut four 1.5âe pieces for the ice. My last step was to stick the ice to the cardbase, draw some skate marks on it with white gel pen, and then stick each skater. Thanks for a fun challenge. I'm excited to have three more Christmas cards finished!
