This is my card for this week's Teaparty for Ellen using today's sketch. I started by using the Smoosh & Squirt Technique by swiping the 2 pink inkpads onto foil paper, squirting with water, and placing c/s on top of this. Once this had dried I then used the gold inkpad DTP. I also used the gold inkpad around the edges of the panel & also to colour the lacy circle. Stamped just the one peony from the larger stamp onto the circle die in Blushing Bride & Old Olive marker pen. Added the pearls and sentiment.

You've turned pink and gold into beautiful harmony here, Sue. I was going to say symphony but then I thought that implied more "players". The soft flower is so pretty.

This is so beautiful Sue. I bet it looks even more special in real life with the gorgeous shimmer. You sure captured the things that Ellen loves. Thanks so much for sending this.

Really beautiful and the 'best flower ever'! Peonies are my very favorite and in fact, i have a beautiful vase of them on my kitchen table right now. The reminder of these great flowers and the beauty of their fragrance, hopefully is something that will put an instant smile on Ellen's face. : ) Terrific and i love all the pearls, too ;) Teresa
