I made this as a GD for the mid month reminder post of the CAS Watercolor Challenge, and it also works perfectly for today's splattering challenge (a technique that I am obsessed with!!!).
BG: smooshing with DI ink on WC CS, then splattered/blotted with water, then splattered with black zigs and white acrylic paint
Leaves and berries: Penny Black winter berry die cut from white cs, used the smooshing method to add color to the leaves and berries (at least 2 colors layered on each), then splattering on these also. Sponged a bit of color around the edges for definition. Spectrum sparkle pen added to the berries for sparkle!
Sentiment: stamped in black
Assembly: Add embossed strip across bottom, add thin strip of red glitter cs, attach panel to card front, adhere branch and berries, add sequins for bling!

Gorgeous watercolored smooshed background for your beautifully watercolored die cut image, Maura. I LOVE all your ink, water and acrylic paint splatters. Love your narrow border and dry embossed border at the bottom of your card. A creative way to ground your pretty image. TFS and Congratulations on being the Guest Designer at CAS Watercolour. Hugs..Nancy
