Yup, here I am in Arizona to escape winter and what stamp & die set do I buy at the Stamp Show last weekend?!? Being in a warm place for the winter doesn't diminish how much I love snowmen stamps so this little guy hopped into my basket and came home with me.
I chose this adorable snowman ornament: https://www.fairindigo.com/catalog/p...wman-ornament/ as my inspiration. I love the owl on the ornament but my little snow-fella has a cardinal which I love almost as much.
Stamped the image on watercolour paper in my TH Stamp Platform, coloured him with distress inks and an aqua-painter. After I coloured the image, I restamped the image in my platform to darken the lines. I wanted to make a snowy background but didn't have a lot of choices for supplies. I attempted to create a snowy effect by splattering some Ranger Distress Picket Fence ink with a wet toothbrush. Not quite the look I was going for but I'll just claim it as a 'limited supplies challenge" and call it good.
Loved the ornaments on the inspiration site. May have to do a few more cards. Thanks for stopping by.

Heather, that sky is perfect! Great snowman and great card. I agree with you on the warm weather not stopping the snowman love. Many hugz

This is super cute, Heather. The colours are great and I love the dimension your snowbank adds. Are you going to be able to get back to Arizona this winter and pull out your languishing supplies there?🤗
