I admire quilters immensely and truly. I do! Quilters know how to stay within the lines, they know their boundaries. They can make a perfect square. They've got mathmatical gray matter. Not me, not surprised, right? But one thing I know is to recognize a great pattern and combination of colors.
Brenda selected a great site this week in StudioE fabrics. I couldn't resist this print. I love the combination of purples and turquoise. And so I give you back my personal caffeine induced moment of brilliance...and I am so caffeinated, I can hardly twitter!
My beautiful woman of a certain age has a paper pieced Basic Grey robe. Fuzzy bunny slippers fuzzed with Bo Bunny 'fuzzy stuff'. I epoxied her happy face kaffe mug. The coffee artistic splatters are a delightful serendipity...not in any way artistically created. I slogged the alcohol inks onto the paper, quite like I do every time I use our espresso machine.
Do you think they have a breath analyzer for being over the influence of espresso? Busted!!!
Hope it's been a wonderful Saturday wherever you be. Please stop by for a cuppa of java when you are close.

I so love my coffee every morning, but don't think I could handle espresso as well as this gal, haha! Great job with her paper pieced robe and the coffee splatters look great, too.
P.S. I would love to have a coffee with you!

You had me laughing, Susan! This image is priceless....love the real coffee splats and the cute robe she is donning!
*I can't have caffeine....So one year, on Black Friday, we all trekked to the mall good and early. Stopped at the coffee shop and ordered a fun frozen drink, telling them to make it decaffeinated (as usual). In no time I realized they forgot about the de in decaffeinated and my hands went numb and I was talking so fast and just couldn't help it! So glad when it wore off a few hours later.....but that was a "trip" I'll never forget~

I still have quite a bit of paper from the stack you used and I love it! It's absolutely perfect for her robe! Such a fun card with all the splatters of coffee. I love the sentiment!!!

Susan, great paper pieced robe. Love the coffee splashes and fun feeling of this card. Wonderfully done. I totally admire quilters for the same reasons as you. Hugz

You know this oH gal would be on your doorstep, with her iced tea, in a minute if she could .... What fun we would have. I LOVE THIS! I even think it looks kinda like me trying to do things on my phone.
Great colors and what a fun image.
