Polly is our host for the MMTPT535 Connections challenge. I made two cards, both using Polly's challenge extra of embossing.
This one is some old DP embossed and sponged, then edged with gold and sprinkled with chunky gold EP. I added some die-cut wildflowers (Stickles on the Queen Anne's Lace one), twine and a gold butterfly. It's really gold, having trouble with finding a good lighting set-up these days. It still needed something more but most sequins were a bit too gaudy. In the end these little faux wood ones from Serendipity turned out to match the wildflowers and twine well.

Do I see sparkles?....oh yah.....very pretty and so neat with the embossing. I like your idea of adding the wood type sequins...they DO match well with the flowers...the cute lil tags on the bottom there a great finish...TFs..:0)

The texture and the die-cut flowers are lovely together. I think the faux wood sequins were just the right touch. I love them with the colors of the flowers!

This is just so pretty - your color choices are wonderful - and I really like the combination of elements.
I would be happy to share that pecan pie with you, but I guess we will have to settle for virtual cookies!!!
