This card is for two of this week's challenges. The F4A451 hosted by Jeanne S. asked for using a stencil on a card. The CC708 hosted by Pam McKay includes the color combination of So Saffron, Garden Green, and Real Red. Dessert for this challenge also includes using a stencil.
To make the card, I first die cut three leaves from white cardstock, colored them, and attached them strategically to PTI yellow cardstock. Then I die cut the same three leaves from the same PTI yellow cardstock and discarded the leaves. I used the Hero Arts "The Woods" stencil and sponged a light gray ink over this panel. I used the same stencil to add Glass Bead Glitter Gel onto the panel. After the gel dried, I used this negative panel to attach over the colored leaves, raising the panel with foam tape. I used the gray ink in hopes it would make the gel show up more, and now I regret it as I don't like it as I thought I would.
There are mistakes on this card; however, this has been a bad week for me and getting the card made took energy from me. Unfortunately, I had a death in my family (i.e. lost a little baby) and was also dealing with the hurricane. Regardless, I got the card made and it fits perfectly for Jeanne's challenge.

It breaks my heart especially when little children pass away. I pray you will mend quickly, Bev. I like what your sentiment states because we need to find the beauty during the storms of life. Beautiful blooms and sparkle & I like how the red corners tie everything together and draw the eye to the pretty blooms~

Your positioning of the leaves is really a nice design, especially the way you cut them out of the card front. I love the bold pops of color from the photo corners as well! Great card!

Big hugs sweet friend, for a rough week no one should have to go through. Your card is absolutely stunning, with the die cut panel popped up over the stamped leaves, plus the Glass Bead Glitter Gel stenciled woods are the perfect background for the brighter elements. The punched red corner and beautiful sentiment finish things off beautifully!
