I am so missing MN and the beautiful fall colors. Here in NY itÂ’s still all green. I made this card using ink scene stamp from hero arts. This stamp set is quiet versatile. I stamped the grouping of tiny tees at the far back to give an illusion of wooded trees far away. I then used the other single image trees and the pine tree to make the trees closer. I just stamped the trees one above we the other to make it look tall. Same with the pine tree as well. I then used Qtip and a brush dipped in #distresspaints and gave all the highlights and colors and illustrations of leaves etc. I stenciled wood grain from hero arts for the background.

My dear, where in MN are you from? I can tell you must have lived some time here, because this is the perfect representation of the deeper autumn in the northland! I myself live in the north central region of the state, and though the colors aren't quite there yet - at least they weren't went I left home last weekend - they will likely get there in the next week or two... hopefully not until I return home and can experience fall's last gorgeous breath! THANK YOU for sharing such a beautiful card with us! It truly warms my heart!
