Expect the Unexpected - I see so many future cards with this new sentiment! Today it is a Halloween sentiment paired with a new Scary Skull image. I couldn't resist changing the skulls into sugar skulls - it makes them a bit less scary and reminds me of skulls I saw growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The pink color and lace help reduce the scariness too. The inside has a really scary skull I didn't change up. I should have done a giant Boo sentiment! Maybe some confetti would be fun.
The bg and the skull base was done using SU! Regal Rose and Vintage photo distress ink swiped on aluminum foil and sprayed with water until liquid. Then I dipped in the paper. The water softens the color to light pink and gives the ink some motion. I love this technique. On the cardboard base, I pealed off a layer of paper (Amazon Box) and then painted the cardboard white. It was too white, so I sponged on Vintage Photo and Black Soot which I also did lightly around the skulls too.
Fun - hope this isn't too scary!

To be truthful, I am not a skull fan, though I am sure glad to still have mine! But I really the depth, the contrast of your feminine lace with the masculine cardboard. A way cool card and I adore the sentiment!
