My friend Liz loves to send cards and loves my cards, so I make her anything she wants because she always orders fun cards. Two weeks ago it was "Sorry you have worms". Today is a birthday card for her friend that loves The Foo Fighters. She asked me if I could put a picture of Dave Grohl on the card. Today's sketch was perfect for this card because I saw the circles as records. I stole a couple of record stickers from Desmond. It's OK. I share my stuff with him And then I punched out a few other records in black glitter paper. I have three different size records here. I guess I have some 78's. LOL.
To make this card a little more rock and roll, I edged the picture with Versa Mark and applied some dark red embossing powder to it. Then I distressed a few spots on the card base. I decided too, that this would be a good card to try TLC51 - Heated Ribbon. Wow, it's cool how it curls up when you heat it. I think it looks pretty cool mixed in with the records. I hope Liz and her friend love it.
