Today we had One Kings Lane to be inspired by for the Inspiration Challenge.
I was inspired by this Eleanor Rigby Wallpaper, Storm - it reminded me of this super large Glorious Bouquet stamp I have.
I first stamped the image on a panel with Adirondack Snow Cap ink - thinking it would give me a great white image - but no, you could hardly see it on the gray (!?!) - so I quickly covered it with white embossing powder and embossed it - and it showed up nicely! (I don't know why I keep buying white inks??!)
I die cut the panel with a Pierced Feature Frame die but adhered both pieces flat on my Soft Stone card base (rather than raising the outside frame).
I stamped the sentiment on a dark gray strip in black and layered it over the image with foam dots.

Julia, this is so soft and so pretty. A wonderful sympathy card. I really like it!

The embossing was a definite plus! It makes this perfect stamp for your inspiration really pretty! I love that you cut the framing but then kept them both flat! It gives it a little more interest that way but no more bulk!
