Diane (DCinkit) had a great idea to make sure we have an envelope to fit this week's design for the SC711 challenge. I have some tall envelopes but they are all in a Christmas design so I decided to use my regular A6 envelopes. I cut my base at 6 1/4x 4 inches to give me a taller and skinnier than normal card.
I also need a single layer card this week so for my layer #2 of the sketch, I masked and blended the color directly on the card base. I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes for easy blending. You can check more about that on my blog.
For my flower layer, I used dandelions from the Dandelion Wishes and my sentiment is from the Neighborhood set by Picket Fence Studios.

I really love how you let your stamped image define the lower panel of this sketch. And your shading is wonderful. Great take on his challenge and great inspiration for me.

Just beautiful, Angie! The way you sponged and reverse masked the colored area and then let it fade out where the flowers are stamped is really fabulous! Love CAS cards!
