I am always drawn to sunsets (or sunrises) in outdoor scenes so I fell in love with the sky in this image here.
I also wanted to participate in PTI's Transformation Tuesday and thought I could switch up some things from my scene card found here.
...AND, this fits Mary's DTGD challenge!! Yea!!!
I stamped the lighthouse first and then masked it. Then, using more masks (post-its) and sponging I created the sky/water/sand dunes. Added a bit of texture to the sand with PTI's Crackle texture stamp. Stamped the sentiment - which I LOVE, and then I added some white pigment ink for a bit of reflection and I think it worked fairly well. Die cut some gulls, added a bit of color on them, and adhered. Matted and adhered to card front. Love how it turned out!
OH! I need to embrace that sentiment and live there! I keep stiffening and bracing through life's difficult events when I need to relax and accept! Your scene and coloring are so beautiful!
