I dry embossed the tree and diecut an oval shape. Using a silver metallic ink pad directly on embossed area, I gently swiped on the ink till satisfied and let it dry.
Die cut remaining ovals and birds, stacking the outer oval frame with four layers for dimension. Stamped sentiment.

What a gorgeous card, Jeannie, and it's a perfect one for the inspiration piece you chose! I love it and especially love the cardinals. My mom's favorite bird was the cardinal...and I guess that's why I love them too! Perfect for an anniversary card because cardinals mate for life! Hugs!
