I need to make some birthday cards an thought it was a good opportunity to try an old card model from Petra van Dam which was for a long time on my wish list ...
I think its called a "Coat" card because a large piece of paper is wrapped along the main image like a coat.
To decorate the top of the main image I used Anja's large flower corner and sponged the embossed area's with Bundle Sage.
The PP with flowers is from Marianne Design: "Eline's nursery" PB703. The soft green PP with leafs is from HOTP 4114.
The image is from a decoupage sheet, cut by hand into several layers and popped up with foam tape. (see little photo).
I did not stick the main image to the backside of the coat so I could insert a tag with a personal message. (see second little photo).
For further embellishments I just used a large pearl on the bow of the bouquet and some fussy cut flowers.
Wow! This is absolutely spectacular! Such a stunning design and beautiful paper, all finished off with a gorgeous pearl! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges!
