What a fun theme for this week's Ways To Use It card! My last two camping trips have been completely bug-filled and I thought this was fitting. I also had in mind Michelle's VSN challenge to bring the Great Outdoors to my card...well sometimes the Great Outdoors comes with not so nice inhabitants!
I masked in my trees and colored them. I stamped all of my mosquitoes. I drew my ground line, sponged it and then stamped in my "dirt". I stamped my tent, cut out the opening, stamped vellum with the canvas background in gray and then colored the back of the vellum with the turquoise. I adhered it to the back of the tent with Scor-tape. Finally, I stamped my sentiment, drew in a speech bubble around it and then trimmed it out.
I loved making this...and I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for looking!

Tents and bug spray...memories of childhood camping vacations with my family. Nicely done!

I love this old set from SU. I almost used it for my camp card and did the hiking thank you cards for my MIL. Your card is so cute with this great set Toni.

Ah! The joys of the great outdoors. Love the way you created your little forest scene. Looks like the little tent is bug proof so you should get some respite from the "no see ums".
